Salary Range ($54,527 – $81,793)

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Accountant.  Applicant will perform and coordinate accounting and finance duties within our organization.  Position reports directly to the Controller.  The Accountant’s responsibilities include performing general accounting work associated with maintaining accounting records and processing financial documents. The work involves the responsibility for daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, as well as special reports.  The work also involves maintaining accounting records by verifying, posting, checking, balancing and reconciling financial documents.

A Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required and 1- 3 years relevant accounting experience with a strong knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
