Construction Inspector

Salary Range: ($54,527 – $81,793)

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority is accepting applications for the position of Construction Inspector. Position performs on-site quality assurance inspections, attends various meetings, coordinates construction activities with key stakeholders, and maintains records for the Airport Authority on multiple, complex horizontal and vertical construction projects. The work requires a complete knowledge of construction inspection principles and practices. Works closely with the Project Manager (PM) and reports directly to the Chief Design & Construction Officer (CDCO).

Applicant should have Five years of construction inspection experience on large and complex horizontal and/or vertical projects involving earthwork, concrete and asphalt paving, concrete foundations and structures, masonry, structural steel, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical, electrical, and low voltage. Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously.
