Statements of Qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority (“Owner”) requests Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) for Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”) services from contractors licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors for the Parking Deck and Surface Parking Expansion Project (the “Project”) at the Port of Huntsville, 1000 Glenn Hearn Blvd SW, Huntsville, AL 35824.

Companies interested in submitting a proposal should contact Jim Flowers, Chief Design and Construction Officer by email (jflowers@hsvairport.org). Complete Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) packages will be provided to all licensed contractors requesting them.

Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted by email to Jim Flowers no later than September 24, 2024.

SOQs must be submitted electronically before 2:00 PM on October 1, 2024, by email to Jim Flowers (jflowers@hsvairport.org) with a copy to Amy Murphree (amurphree@hsvairport.org) or delivery of a thumb drive to Owner’s Administrative Offices located on the second floor of the terminal building at 1000 Glenn Hearn Blvd., Huntsville, AL 35824. Any SOQs received after 2:00 PM on October 1, 2024, will be automatically disqualified.

The Project is contingent upon the availability of adequate funding. Owner reserves the right to not to proceed with the Project or any part thereof without any liability to contractors for the cost of preparing an SOQ in response to this RFQ.
