Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”) Services For Terminal and Concourse Improvements Project

The Huntsville-Madison County Airport Authority (“Owner”) requests Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) for Construction Manager at Risk (“CMAR”) services from contractors licensed by the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors for the Terminal and Concourse Improvements Project (the “Project”) at the Port of Huntsville, 1000 Glenn Hearn Blvd SW, Huntsville, AL 35824.
Companies interested in submitting a proposal should contact Jim Flowers, Senior Manager – Design & Construction by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Complete Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) packages will be provided to all licensed contractors requesting them.
A mandatory pre-submittal conference will be held at the Heritage Salon Meeting Room, Second Floor of the Huntsville International Airport Terminal Building, at 10:00 AM on May 12, 2022.
Questions regarding this RFQ must be submitted by email to Jim Flowers no later than May 19, 2022.
SOQs must be submitted electronically before 2:00 PM on May 26, 2022 by email to Jim Flowers (email@example.com) with a copy to Amy Nation (firstname.lastname@example.org) or delivery of a thumb drive to Owner’s Engineering & Facilities Building, located at 104 Facility Way, Huntsville, AL 35824. Any SOQs received after 2:00 PM on May 26, 2022 will be automatically disqualified.
The Project is anticipated to be financed through a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”) and will be subject to all FAA requirements at the time the contract is awarded, including federally required contract clauses.
The Project is contingent upon the availability of federal funds. Owner reserves the right to not to proceed with the Project or any part thereof without any liability to contractors for the cost of preparing an SOQ in response to this RFQ.
